Long Time, No Post

Today, I was able to attend a ladies' Bible study that provided childcare. SO nice. So Sophie got to play with kids and I got to dive into the word with women. It was a very nice morning.

This past weekend was my beautiful little girl's first birthday. We had a birthday party at the house and Sophie had fun playing in the yard with her new sand and water table. She also loved eating pineapple with her grandfather and running up the hill into the neighbor's yard. (Yes, running.) And of course, she loved her first bites of cake.

So besides walking, running and climbing on everything, Sophie has become quite vocal. She even has a joke. I'll say, "Sophie, say 'Mama'." And she smiles and says, "Dada." Today, I caught her saying Mama and I said, "You said 'Mama'!" To which, she quickly replied, "Dada." She also says book, ball, hi, woah, light, cat and dog. She can also imitate a cow and a snake. She's just precious. :)
