After a brief trip down memory lane, I was reminded again that I am SO very blessed to have met and married Carl.
Having a husband who is constantly around, who loves to be helpful in ways small and large, and who willingly takes Sophie when I need a break is more than I ever thought possible. Top all of that with what a great dad he is, how he's one of the few people I know who doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs AND that he has a beautifully thick head of hair and I'm the most blessed wife on the planet. I only hope that I spend enough time showing him how grateful I am to have him in my life. I love you, babe!
Onto Sophie. My newest refrain is, Oh Soph, slow down! If you follow our dropshots site, you may notice that we haven't uploaded in awhile. This is because Sophie is now constantly on the move. She started with crawling and progressed VERY quickly to pulling herself up on things. I was trying to catch the crawling on video the other day and the video ends with her bumping her head and beginning to shriek because that's when I put the camera down and rushed to her aid. I haven't really picked it up again since. In the meantime, here are some shots of Sophie's first playdate with snow . . . .
